These terms apply to The Count app and website. By creating an account or using The Count, you agree to them.

Who can use The Count

You must be at least 18 years old. One account per person, and keep your email address current so you can sign in.

What The Count is (and isn't)

The Count is a tool for tracking your own drinks and sharing totals with friends you choose. It is not medical advice or treatment. If you're worried about your drinking, talk to a doctor or call the free, confidential SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357.

The Locker Room: zero tolerance for abuse

Busting each other's chops is part of the fun. Abuse isn't. In the Locker Room and anywhere else in The Count, you may not post content that:

• harasses, threatens, bullies, or intimidates anyone;
• is hateful or discriminatory toward any group;
• is sexually explicit, or involves minors in any way;
• shares someone else's private information without their permission;
• encourages dangerous drinking, self-harm, or illegal activity;
• is spam, a scam, or infringes someone else's rights.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can report any message and block any user from inside the app. We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules, without notice.

Your content

You're responsible for what you post. You keep ownership of it, and you give us permission to store it and show it to the members of the group you posted it in. Messages are visible only to that group.

Your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently erases your data. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms.

No warranty

The Count is provided "as is." We work to keep it running and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we're not liable for decisions you make based on it, to the extent the law allows.

Changes

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll ask you to accept the new version in the app.
